About CTRL

My name is CTRL and I am an artist, producer and mix engineer from New London, CT.  I first began my artistic journey in late 2018 starting with production and making beats as a hobby.  In late 2019 I began rapping and realized it was his passion and has been on path of growth ever since.  Taking on the challenge of learning how to make my own music with production,  writing, and mixing.  I have familiarized and self taught himself skills in many DAWs.  Most notably FL Studio 20 and Avid Pro Tools. I take heavy inspirations from some of my favorite artist and producers, such as: Logic, J. Cole, J. Dilla, DJ Premier, 6ix, Nas, Big L, Kendrick Lamar, PSTMN, Jay-Z, Drake, Madlib, Mos Def, RZA, Kanye West among many, many others.
